The 2569th State Vesak Festival was grandly celebrated this year, with the Nuwara Eliya District serving as the main center for the national festivities. In parallel with the main celebrations, a prestigious district-level Vesak Lantern Competition was organized, showcasing incredible craftsmanship and creativity.
Representing the public sector, the Kotmale West
Divisional Secretariat proudly participated in this competition. The
intricately designed Vesak lantern presented by the staff of the Divisional
Secretariat won a Merit Award (කුසලතා ස්ථානයක්), bringing recognition to the institution.
This achievement highlights the dedication, teamwork, and
artistic talents of the staff members who worked together to create this
beautiful exhibit in celebration of the sacred Vesak season. The Kotmale West
