With the Nuwara Eliya District hosting the prestigious National
Vesak Full Moon Poya Celebration for the year 2025, various parallel
religious and cultural events are being held across the region. As part of
these district-wide celebrations, a grand Devotional Song Program (Bhathi
Gee Saraniya) was staged on May 14, 2025.
Representing the public sector with great pride and devotion,
the official Bhathi Gee choir of the Kotmale West Divisional
Secretariat took part in the event. The staff members delivered a serene
and uplifting performance, showcasing their musical talents while honoring the
spiritual significance of the National Vesak festival.
The Kotmale West Divisional Secretariat commends all the
staff members who dedicated their time and effort to represent the institution
so beautifully at this national-level celebration.
